The Geneva Concours d’Elegance is a spectacular automobile event held every year in beautiful historic downtown Geneva, Illinois, situated perfectly in the Fox River Valley 35 miles west of Chicago. This is a family event held on Third Street, the heart of the downtown business district’s charming shops, boutiques, restaurants and only one block from the Metra station.  We will host another unique collection of automobiles for judging and exhibition with entrants competing for the coveted “Benz” awards.

This year we will feature Mercedes Benz SLs (all years), Steam Powered Automobiles, Chrysler 300 Letter Cars and a special feature celebrating the 70th Birthday of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). These automobiles will provide a wonderful exhibition that will be of interest to a broad audience of automobile aficionados, collectors, and automobile lovers of all ages. Last year’s event attendance exceeded 20,000 spectators.

We hope you will consider displaying your Mercedes helping to tell the story and timeline, of the Mercedes Benz SL.

We are in search of at least two concours level examples from the platforms that comprise the SLs coveted 64 years of production:

1954 – 1963 – W121 & W198

1963 -  1971 – W113

1972 – 1989 -   R107

1989 -  2002 -  R129
