Since our last newsletter your Section enjoyed a Drive to Dine in Green Bay at The 1919 Kitchen & Tap in the Lambeau Field Atrium, and an enjoyable evening at Starry Nights. Read about both events elsewhere in the newsletter. Thanks go to Dick and Nancy Kusch for hosting the Lambeau Field event and Joanne Peterson and Nancy Pearson for hosting Starry Nights.
Show & Glow is scheduled for August 5th in Milwaukee. This year there will be a judging of the best Mercedes in the show, and our own Ghassan Majdalani will lead the team of three reviewers who will pick the winner. We will celebrate Oktoberfest September 9th. Further in the future is a return to Road America for the Ariens Art on Wheels event September 16th. We visit the Classic Boat Show in Fontana on September 23rd for a Drive to Dine. We have invited the Chicago Section to join us for this event. We will have a Tech Session at Umansky Motor Cars on October 12 and a Door County Fall Color Tour October 20 - 22. More information on these events can be found elsewhere in the newsletter and check the Upcoming Events Calendar for all future events. Some have seating limitations and/or reservation deadlines, so I encourage you to put all these events on your calendar NOW and join us for as many upcoming functions as you can. You will have a good time, meet new members, renew old friendships, and take maximum advantage of your membership.
Got any ideas for an event? It can be as simple as a Drive to Dine, a Benz & Breakfast or a trip to a sporting event or other venue. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send them to me or one of our board members.
